For every decrease of 0.01% in carbon content, manganese content can be increased by 0.05%, up to 1.35%.
As per agreement, niobium content in melting analysis can be increased to 0.05%, and in finished product analysis to 0.06%.
Heat Treatment Requirements:
Normalizing above 815°C.
Normalizing above 815°C followed by tempering.
Hot forming between 845-945°C followed by furnace cooling above 845°C (applicable only to seamless pipes).
Tempering after processing as per 3.
Tempering after quenching above 815°C.
Mechanical Property Requirements:
Yield Strength: ≥240 MPa
Tensile Strength: ≥415 MPa
