SUS304 refers to 304 stainless steel. SUS is a Japanese material standard, 304 stainless steel is a brand of stainless steel produced according to the American ASTM standard. 304 is equivalent to the [1] (0Cr18Ni9) stainless steel in China. Japan also quotes the American name as SUS304.

Compared with Cr13 Stainless steel, it has high corrosion resistance, high plasticity and toughness at low temperature, room temperature and high temperature, as well as good cold work forming and weldability. However, the strength at room temperature is low, the tendency of intergranular corrosion and stress corrosion is large, and the machinability is poor. Austenite has no phase transformation during heating, so it can not be strengthened by heat treatment.
