The cap is generally used for the end of the pipe, and the head is used for the upper and lower parts or the left and right ends of the container. The cap is usually of outer diameter, such as 219,273,325. Generally speaking, the ellipse head is inner diameter, such as 1 meter, all refers to the inner diameter of the cap of the transition part of no requirements (unlike the standard oval), the general manual can only check the diameter and length, and the straight part is longer. The  cap is only the plug of the pipe, and if the DN exceeds 300, the ellipse head shall be replaced. If the pressure is under pressure, the strength shall be checked.

From the point of view of stress, the semi-spherical pipe cap in convex cap is gradually bad, but from the point of view of manufacturing difficulty, it is gradually good.
