Wear resisting coating is a kind of coating with friction resistance  for steel pipes,pipe fittings and flanges. Its application in FPSO ships can effectively reduce the wear and tear of pipelines and extend their service life.

Wear-resisting coating has two kinds of formation methods:

(1) plasma spraying, arc spraying, flame spraying in the metal surface coating ceramic, alloy, oxide, fluoroplastic and other forms of wear-resisting coating known as thermal spraying wear-resisting coating.

(2) the wear-resistant coating adhesive made of a variety of resin, elastomer and other materials, coated to the metal surface after natural or heating curing of the wear-resistant coating known as chemical adhesive coating wear-resistant coating.

Wear resistant coating pipeline product

The wear-resistant coatings obtained by thermal spraying and chemical adhesion have excellent wear resistance. Thermal spraying process requires special equipment and skilled operation technology, coating is relatively thin, large area of construction efficiency is higher. Chemical coating process is simple, only need to match good wear-resisting coating gum according to the regulation commonly, don’t have higher technical requirement to construction personnel, construction is convenient, the requirement of place is low.
