Haihao Group has recently completed the production and shipment of pre-machined forged round bars for a key customer in Kazakhstan, reaffirming the company’s commitment to delivering precision-engineered components for global industrial applications.
The supplied forged bars were manufactured in accordance with ASME SA-105, a standard widely recognized for carbon steel forgings used in pressure systems. The products include:
- Ø40 × 50 mm (-0/+1) forged round bar
- Ø37 × 34 mm (-0/+1) forged round bar
Each bar underwent strict metallurgical and mechanical testing to ensure compliance with project requirements and international specifications.

Stringent Quality and Testing Procedures
To ensure optimal performance and reliability, Haihao Group implemented a complete series of inspections, including:
- Chemical composition analysis of base metal to verify alloy purity.
- Delivery in heat-treated condition for enhanced mechanical strength and toughness.
- Tensile testing at 20°C, ensuring material consistency under standard service conditions.
- Hardness control to guarantee uniform surface and core strength.
- Macrostructure inspection to assess grain flow and forging integrity.
- 100% ultrasonic testing (UT) according to ASTM A388, following ASME BPVC Section VIII, Division 2, Clause 3.6.3.
- Carbon equivalent (CE) control ≤ 0.47, ensuring weldability and reduced risk of cracking.
Every stage of manufacturing – from forging to machining – was carefully monitored to maintain dimensional accuracy and structural integrity. The pre-machined round bars are now ready for integration into high-pressure piping systems, flanges, and other critical components used in Kazakhstan’s energy and construction sectors.
As a professional forged bar manufacturer and supplier, Haihao Group continues to serve global markets with high-quality ASME-compliant forgings. With decades of experience in material engineering, we provide tailor-made solutions for oil & gas, petrochemical, and mechanical industries worldwide.
