(1) Different appearance

Plastic coated steel pipe is based on steel pipe, coated with polyethylene and other plastic powder to dust. The inner and outer surfaces of steel pipes shall be evenly coated, some of which shall be provided with anti-corrosion coating, and whether to add flame retardant shall be determined according to the application.

Although the plastic lined steel pipe is also based on steel pipe, its surface is galvanized and painted, lined with plastic or anti-corrosion layer. In the market, most of the plastic lined PE or PP-R layers are used for drainage and water supply.

(2) Different production processes

The production process of plastic coated steel pipe is that the steel pipe is pretreated and heated before rapid plastic coating and then solidified.

Plastic lined steel pipe includes two processes: plastic lined and rolling. Plastic lining is formed by coating the outer wall of plastic pipe with adhesive and placing it inside the heated steel pipe to make the plastic pipe expand. Rolling plastic is to roll plastic dust on the inner wall of the steel pipe after the steel pipe is pretreated and heated, and wait for it to cool and solidify.

(3) Different connection methods

The connection mode of plastic coated steel pipe mainly includes flange connection, groove connection, screw connection, etc;
