What is outlet pipe fitting?

Outlet pipe fitting(also called pipe branch fittings,branch connection fittings,tube base or O’lets) provides a branch of a large-diameter pipe to a small-diameter pipe.The pipe on which the outlet is welded is called the run pipe,and the pipe welded on the outlet is called the branch pipe.Outlet is the reinforcing fitting mainly used branch pipe connection.

Types of pipe branch fittings:

The common types of pipe branch fittings are weldolet,thredolet,sockolet,latrolet,elbolet,nipolet,sweepolet,insert weldolet,brazolet,coupolet.

It has the advantages of safety and reliability,lower cost,simple construction,improved media flow path,series standardization,convenient design selection.It is widely used in high-pressure,high-temperature,large-diameter,and thick-walled pipelines,and has replaced the traditional way of branch pipe connection.

The branch connection fittings’ body adopts high-quality forging fittings,and the material is same as the pipeline,including carbon steel,alloy steel and stainless steel.

The connection between outlet fitting body and run pipe is welded,but there are three types of connection for outlet fittings body and branch pipe or other pipe(short tube,plugs etc.)instrument,valve connection.They are butt welding connections, socket welding connections,and threaded connections.

The common manufacturing execution standards for outlet fittings are MSS SP-97, GB/T19326.
