Haihao Group has successfully completed the delivery of a comprehensive batch of seamless carbon steel pipes to a customer in Singapore. The shipment covers multiple sizes, wall thicknesses, and end preparations, designed to meet the strict requirements of oil, gas, and industrial pipeline systems.
All pipes were manufactured and inspected in full compliance with international standards, ensuring stable performance, dimensional accuracy, and long-term reliability in demanding service conditions.
Project Scope and Pipe Specifications
This supply includes SMLS (seamless) steel pipes with outside diameters ranging from 1.5 inches to 24 inches, supplied in 6-meter fixed lengths. The wall thicknesses cover a wide range of schedules and nominal thicknesses, including S160, XS, STD, S20, S30, and customized thicknesses such as 0.562″ and 0.312″.

All pipes were supplied with plain ends or beveled ends, depending on welding and installation requirements.
Material Grade and Applicable Standards
The majority of the pipes were produced using API 5L Grade B PSL1, widely used in transmission pipelines and process piping systems due to its excellent balance of strength, toughness, and weldability.
- Standard: ASME B36.10 / ASME B36.10M
- Material: API 5L Gr. B PSL1
For low-temperature service applications, part of the order was manufactured in ASTM A333 Grade 6, with impact testing performed at –46°C, ensuring reliable toughness under cold operating conditions.
Surface Condition and Additional Processing
To meet different project requirements, the shipment includes pipes with:
- Beveled ends for butt welding
- Plain ends for mechanical or prefabrication use
- Internal organic coating applied after fabrication for selected sizes, improving corrosion resistance and flow efficiency
Certain large-diameter pipes were supplied as seamless pipes manufactured to welded pipe dimensional tolerance, a common solution for heavy-wall or large-size pipeline applications.

Each pipe underwent strict inspection procedures, including:
